WeatherSuite is a one-stop system covering all your weather show needs. Our software accommodates a wide range of data formats from any source of your choice which can be previewed and compared in the creation of the day’s weather stories. The resulting weather types which can be visualised are of course equally numerous: radar and satellite images, cloud forecasts, field data visualisations for temperature or precipitation patterns to name just a few. You also have the freedom to alter data directly within our system should you so wish and to save any changes back to the database for automatic insertion into other documents. In this way, all your other weather shows for the day will benefit from your data alterations in one single task.
When it comes to presenting, you’ll be looking for a professional graphics system which lets your weather show stand out from the crowd. Vast ranging graphical functionality and meteorological expertise combine to produce any number of different presentational styles. The system is also flexible enough to accommodate last minute graphical changes just before going on air.
MeteoEarth is a revolution in real-time television weather forecasting. Whether at continental, national or local level, satellite animations, cloud forecasts, radar images and other meteorological elements can be overlaid to show how the weather is unfolding – in real-time! Individual weather elements can be added or removed at the touch of a button and pre-sets for specific locations and weather types can be set immediately prior to your weather show. And the entire product is configurable to your own meteorlogical needs.
MeteoEarth is just the tool to show severe or interesting weather developments anywhere across the world, as and when they happen. The beauty of MeteoEarth lies in the combination of high-resolution graphics and real-time capability. The whole world is navigable at the touch of a finger. Imagine for a moment that a hurricane is passing over the southern states of the USA just as you are about to go on air with your lunchtime weather show. Traditionally this would have meant containing pre-rendered footage showing out of date information. With MeteoEarth you can captivate your audience with up-to-the-minute weather visualisations. The very latest news on that hurricane can be shown to kick-off your show before moving on to your own national or regional weather. The transition between the two could not be easier: immediately prior to going on air, you can set you starting screen complete with the weather elements you want to start with and save the whole screen as a pre-set. On cue, MeteoEarth swoops from one element of content to the other in a quick, but smooth zoom-out and zoom-in.

Traffic

Traffic is a subject which also benefits greatly from real-time technology: the data has to be up-to-the-minute to maintain the added value of traffic visualisation.
MeteoGraphics provides up-to-the-minute information on where the traffic jams are to allow your viewers to make alternative, time-saving plans for their journeys. The information is displayed on a high-resolution map background on which urban areas, lakes, rivers and landmarks are clearly depicted for ease or orientation. Zooming into a particular region, or navigating around the country could not be easier. Various formatting options are available in highlighting the traffic hotspots and a description of each traffic incident can be added, containing length, starting and finishing points, type of congestion and its cause.
Of course, being Europe's largest independent Weather Company means that we can also overlay out traffic visualisation with the lastest weather information, in order to highlight correlations between the weather and traffic delays. For example a band of heavy rain or snow might be attributed to a paticular traffic jam.
