MeteoGraphics at IBC 2013
MeteoGraphics presents weather solutions for revolutionary weather shows at IBC
Berlin,15.07.2013 - MeteoGraphics, the broadcast division of Europe’s largest private weather business MeteoGroup, will showcase new weather solutions for broadcasters at this year’s IBC. Webview, social media integration, second screen, red button service and remote tablet control are just some of the new features that will be presented at MeteoGroup’s stand 2.C48 in Hall 2.
Webview, a new function for broadcasting full-screen website content, allows broadcasters to integrate live news from the online world and draw viewers to their online offering. With the new social media integration broadcasters can interact directly with viewers and reach new audiences. The day’s story can be illustrated and personalised by integrating user-generated videos or images and hyperlocal weather observations.
MeteoGraphics offers two real-time products: WeatherPresenter and MeteoEarth. With no need for rendering and with intuitive, easy-to-use functionality, presenters can focus on the daily weather and react spontaneously to current weather events. With the new remote tablet control, presenters can now replace the trigger with a tablet, for a completely new experience in weather presenting.
As a one-stop shop for weather services for the media industry, MeteoGraphics has in-depth experience of developing stunning weather graphics and sophisticated visualisation software for all kinds of media such as apps, websites and red button services. At IBC, MeteoGraphics presents the new HbbTV service which brings your weather content into any web-based television. MeteoGraphics also showcases the new mobile app MeteoEarth. The 3D app is based on the weather broadcasting software of the same name, a unique tool for tracking worldwide weather and news events in real-time. The app is the perfect second screen solution giving audiences a revolutionary viewing experience.
With these new and improved products, MeteoGraphics offers broadcasters state-of-the art technology to create unique weather shows that stand out from the crowd.
We look forward to seeing you at IBC where you will have the opportunity to see our weather solutions first hand. Find MeteoGraphics in Hall 2, Stand 2.C48.
